Taigan Plummer Wins Democratic Primary

Taigan Plummer of Warrensburg, Missouri, won tonight's Democratic primary unopposed, and will advance to the general election in November to be your Democratic candidate for the Missouri House of Representatives from the 54th District.

With unofficial results in from the Missouri Secretary of State's Office, Taigan Plummer received 2,010 votes. In the Republican primary, incumbent Rep. Brandon Phelps received 3,457 votes, and Joe Plemons received 680. Taigan will face Rep. Phelps in the the general election on November 3, 2026.

When asked about the night's results, Mrs. Plummer responded:

"Tonight confirms to me that we're a lot further along than we thought, but that we still have a long way to go if we're going to have a real chance to win in November."
