ABOUT OUR CAMPAIGN
Meet the Candidate

MY BACKGROUND
My name is Taigan Plummer, and I am a 25-year-old disabled candidate running for state representative District 54. I am a mother, a domestic violence advocate, and a local business owner. I value education, domestic violence advocacy, and protecting vulnerable communities such as the elderly, disabled, and homeless.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
Disabled at 21 years old, my experience with accessibility has allowed me to advocate for accessibility in both my business and personal life.
As a disabled candidate and a mother, I have overcome numerous challenges to become a successful local business owner and a strong advocate for domestic violence victims. I have dedicated my career to creating opportunities for the vulnerable and fighting for equality in education and support for domestic violence survivors. This is a great space to write a long text about my journey and the experiences that have shaped my approach to advocacy and community service.
MISSION STATEMENT
Educate. Protect. Support.
Educate our children by funding our schools, paying teachers a living wage, and providing adequate resources in the classroom.
Protect our working class with labor protection laws, ensuring workers are treated fairly, including earned paid sick leave which voters already voted for.
Support our community with programs that protect our vulnerable populations, including the disabled, veterans and elderly.
Together we will create a stronger Missouri.
